No Start

On my '00 F150 5.4l after a quick trip it would'nt start. It turns over and i am getting spark but when i press the schrader valve on the fuel rail with the ign on i get no spray of gas, could it be the fuel pump (267k) or is there other things to look at? The heater hose did break off at the fire wall and the back of the engine got wet but i think it could just be a coincidence, what do you guys think?

I would say fuel pump. Can you get somebody to listen under the tank when you turn the key to on, they should be able to hear the fuel pump running to build pressure if it is working.

I gave that swich a little hit and the button popped up and then reset it so i guess it is looking like the fuel pump! Useing an ohm meter would there be any resistance from the pump fuse to ground(the fuse out of course)?

Before condemning the pump itself, make sure you have a good fuse and relay.

Swapped out the relay and fuse(both were good) so i guess time to drop the tank!
