My truck sounds like a honda..

So, I noticed a rattle but put it off because by the ime I get home from work it's dark and I figured it was the heat sheild. Yesterday I noticed my truck sounds like a ricer.. This morning I got up and climbed under the truck. Sheilds are tight. Exhaust is tight and I noticed the part that goes from the driver to passenger side exhaust is missing a bolt. Found the rattle. I also found a nice cut where I guess either has a clamp or someone cut it. It's too smooth to say the rattle snapped the exhaust in half but I dont see a clamp that would go to it..

Anyone have any pictures of their stock exhaust so I can figure out whats going on?

If it has a hole, that's where the ricer sound is coming from. You can get that exhaust tape from autozone and put that on it to see if it fixes it, however that's only really a band-aid to the problem. You would most like have to get it cut out and weld in a new piece of pipe.

No hole. The pipe is completely detached. Looks like its been cut but its not fresh metal which makes me think there was a band or something.

Well in that case that's definitely where the sound is coming from. Are you planning on fixing it yourself or having a shop do it? Because chances are once that pipe comes apart it's not gonna go back together so it's gonna have to be replaced. But pics would definitely help.

Or tried too, without the converter's it'd be way too loud and deep to sound like a ricer.

My friend's dad had his converters stolen off of his truck today while he was eating lunch at Whataburger.
