Well if your going to do a lift...at the same time I would do ball joints and new u-joints. Maybe cv axles as well. Otherwise I don't see a reason not to.

Yea I would your easily gonna see another 60k outta that truck and the average driver only does about 10-15k a year as long as you maintain and keep up the truck. I think it'd be worth it to do it.

I would regear to make it a little easier on the engine. Plus get a good look on the inside of the diff and check on the bearings. I regeared mine around 130k miles and they said all my axle bearing where on there way out.

My last truck received a lift and 37's at 130k. Never an issue. Sold at 165k.

The truck I have now has 140 on it, 25 or so on the engine but am considering a lift soon.

i have 198158 on mine... had my lift for the past year no probls knock on wood. i had my ball joints and brakes replaced when i got the lift it still had stock ball joints on it. only problems ive had since is exhaust problems and thats not the lifts fault obviously.... its definitely worth it. at high miles your not gonna sell it for much anyways so you really dont have to worry bout the lift dropping the value.
