Vibration and Squeeling noise in front end of ford f150
I have a 2000 Ford F150 4x4 4WD V8 5.4L. I just replaced upper control arms(balljoints included), lower ball joints, inner tie rods, and outer tie rods. I replaced both sides of my truck. I took my truck in for an alignment today. I am getting a front end vibration and sort of like a squealing/whining noise while I drive down the road. It did not make this noise before I replaced any of the parts or had the alignment. Does anyone have an idea of what it could be?
I did the work myself. I am wondering if it may be the rotors and brake pads. It has been a while since I have changed them and since I took the brakes off when I installed the tie rods and ball joints. Other than that I am not sure what it would be.....
noise?
check your hubs/front wheel bearing assemblies.
My wife's van started making a growling like noise which corresponded to vehicle speed- thought it was brakes/cv axle but it was just the hub/bearing assembly.
