The tensioners work off oil pressure.
What is the state of these tensioners?

Why did you change it in the first place? Low oil pressure will allow the tensioners to go slack. Have you checked the pressure at idle? Did you change the crank gears?

Changed everything except cam gears.i changed the timing set cause the motor had a cam lock up in the head, and I just figured I do it when I was there along with rod/main bearings oil pump and all new arp hardwear never checked oil pressure at idle, but the in dash dummy guage says everything is fine
