THE GOOD: Well I've have the f150 for a little over 3 months now and I've done quite a few things:
painted grille,painted bed caps, acetoned emblems
leveled, 33x12.5x17 Mickey Tompson MTZ, powdercoat gloss black rims
true duals black tips, took off all stickers, smoked tails, corners,and 3rd brake
Gotts intake, SCT X3 programmer

future plans: headlights, fogs, paint more plastic stuff, remove door molding, tint

THE BAD: My mud/trail truck started on fire. I was driving it when my rims were getting powder coated. I think it started by or in the trans.

 

wow..... unbelievable. That sucks.

 

Sorry bout your ranger man... but no offense, I like the stock look of those fx4 scabs more than customized... looks cleaner, but that's just me. Cool truck though

Very nice, I love the FX4 Scabs! Does yours have a sunroof? Also I removed the door moldings on my 99, IMO trucks look so much better without them. The trick is to get a heat gun and peel them off, once the adhesive is hot, you can just take something and rub it off. Sorry about the ranger, that sucks bad.

 

your f150 looks great! i like the powdercoated wheels.

did you remove the cruise control on the ranger? there was a recall on it causing fires.

 

str8t six: no i never had the recall fixed but the cruise has not work for about 6 months

mikeyss: yes it does have a sunroof, hopefully get to the door molding this weekend

The f150 looks real good! Id like it better with the fx4 stickers on it still. and I'm not a fan of acetoned emblemes.. but its not my truck!

 

Rathf150 how much did you spend on getting the rims powdercoated. I am looking into it myself and just wondering how much I should be looking at.

 

Looks nice. I had FX4 wheels powdercoated black a while back and loved them. What happend to the centercaps?
