well I have gotten myself in a little pickel. I was using oven cleaner to remove the out dated hand painted pinstriping on my truck it all came of with ease untill i got to the last 2 panels the drivers side door and fender and i think its under the clear(i tried wet sanding with 1000 grit and buffing no results scared i was gong to burn through the clear)........ What should i do? should I just have the whole truck repinstriped? i love the look of no striping but i dont have the cash to have the front fender an door painted. I am heart broken over this any suggesions would be greatly appreciated.

You could get a bottle of the touch of paint that matches the color of your truck and just "repinstripe" over wheres it left, It wouldn't be the prettiest up close but probably hard to notice from over 5 ft away.
