2001 f150 krsc 4x4 wont spin tires past 1500 rpm?

I don't go out of my way to off road. But when the opportunity arises... I go. Last trip I was on we encountered some old service roads that were pretty washed out. Between the water bars, missing parts of the roads and deep mud holes.. had a good time and the truck handles great. Sucks cleaning it though.

that is strange do you have some sort of traction control on your truck??

my 97 F-150 if im on sand or grass or anything and i hammer the pedal it will spin the rear tires all the way to 5,500RPM and makes some good rooster tails. its funny once the tires start spining alot the speedo starts moving up. doing a brake TQ in sand once i got the speedo to say 85MPH and i wasnt moving haha
