Approx cost to paint a hood

Hi all
Can anyone tell me what I should expect price to be to paint a new hood? I'm going to start calling around this week.

Thanks!

$250-300

Last Time I had paint work done was for a sedan. Had the rear drivers door and jam painted along with the rear quarter for $350. I had to do the prep on the door (removed weather stripping, glass and inner door panel pieces)

Great thanks all! So I'm assuming the cost included sanding and prep?

For my hood it does. They pointed out a few minor stone chips and I told them to do what they do to make it right. I travel too much to do the prep work myself

Red02FX4, are they going to blend the hood into the fenders or just straight-up paint the hood?

Just paint the hood, which I know may not match exactly but should be close. My left fender has peeling clear coat and hopefully next spring I will be at the point to get all the little scratches fixed and repaint the entire truck. I can't spare my truck being out of commission right now the way things have been going.

paint cost

I had my hood and top painted Had a $700 price but went with my local body shop becase they have a 1st class operation. it was $773 to strip prime ,base and clear. So I would think about $400 is a fair price. I didnt have the fenders blended as you cant see them from inside a 1994 f150. The color match was real close
