1997 Scab Seat Lift is Done
1997 Scab Seat Lift is Done
I had saw a couple of questions around here asking about this. I got 2 kicker comp 12's which needed my seat lifted up and I finally lifted the back seat up. After a week or two of research it is done. Let me know what you guys think, feedback is always great.
1) used a 1 5/8's inch metal rail
2) used two 12m x 80 1.50 bolts (10.9)
3) Screws to mount the rail to the original seat stand
4) Bolt in the bolts back of the seat
5) Screws to mount seat to the rail
Washers are optional for the screws. Would recommend
You will need a socket wrench, sockets (i believe i used 3/4 socket to get the bolts off holding the seat to the ground, 5/8 to bolt in the new bolts, Metric 12 for the seat stand bolts) screw gun
Here are some pictures, if anyone has any questions just let me know!
