Denso Iridiums, Motorcraft or NGK.

Ignition system ? Is it COP CoilOverPlug system or do you have CoilPacks and plug wires. The 2000 4.6L's came with either or that year lol.

I have a 97 and a 98 with 4.6's. I use the best of what the factory says to use. They have coil packs and wires. Have them since new and done this a fewtimes. This is something you donot want to do again in a month!!!!!! Coil overs are easier.

Factory plugs are Motorcraft. Good plugs, but they're not Iridium's. Denso Iridium's are an upgrade from the Motorcraft spark plugs, so are the NGK's.
These are the 3 you can run without a problem in these engines.

Good Coils are around 9 -12 bucks apiece for that one.
