i have 295/70R17 terra grapplers on my supercrew. i have a stock sized 255/70r16 spare. im wanting to find a 285/75r16 to put under the bed for a spare so im not using a small tire if i have a flat. does anyone know if a larger tire will fit under the bed? thanks!

 

I run a 265/70-17 spare to match my 31.6" diameter 22" tires, but I've also got an 05.

Not sure, never drove around like that, but yea you could lol. I can't see my spare, just the one from the back, but I'm sure you could see the second since it's down just as far as the rear end.

That was just screwing around beer night in the shop lol.

 

I have a 285/70R17 BFG A/T on the stock steel spare rim, in my 2003 Supercrew.

The tire is worn down, say 20% of original tread. It's a snug fit but it works.

 

If you have a stock exhaust, you can fit a 35x12.50 tire.

 

2002 XLT SCab has 265/75 R16 under the bed.
