Tire size

Just ordered my daystar 1.5" leveling kit for my 2001 2wd scab. Will I be able to run 33's with the leveling kit on? if so what would the best tire size be? I would really like for it not to rub.

Depends on the backspacing on your wheels are you still running the stock wheels?

You can keep the stock wheels with the 1.5" spacer however I'm not sure what size tire you'll be able to run. Ask Buxton91 or wandell on here I'm pretty sure one of them would be able to tell you what tire size would fit best.

Yes, you can fit 33's using the OEM wheels or an 8 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of BS.

I ran 285/75/16's on 16x10 wheels with 4.5" backspacing and had no rubbing at all.

4.5" of backspacing is the wheel not the tire. The stock 2wd wheels are like 6" or something like that. The less backspacing the more the wheel and tire will stick out from the body.

Well if you plan on using the stock wheels then you more than likely won't have any rubbing either. I know I didn't when I had mine.

Possibly on the frame though when turning depending on how wide of a tire he chooses.

With 285's on stock wheels I had no rubbing, But with 305's I rubbed on the sway bar. It was so slight that I would of never noticed if it wasn't for the 1" section on the sway bar that the paint had rubbed off of.

So you ran 285/75/16 on the stock wheels with only a leveling kit and had no rubbing?

Correct, even without the leveling kit I had no rubbing but the tires were stuffed and had no room for flex when offroad.
