Cruise Control Not Working

Repalced the master cylinder in my 2002 F-150 4.6 (W) now cruies control does not work. Bought master cylinder from Autozone. The new master cylinder had what i believe is a pass through thst said to replace with the Proportioning Vlave from old master cylinder in equipted. Mine did not have a proportioning valve so left the one on that came with it. Breaks work fine but no curise. Static test indicate falust BPP.

Help!

Ok Im totally shooting in the dark but maybe its the same issue here, I changed the master cylinder for my clutch and I had the same issue where the cruise would not work. How I fixed it is I basically took the master cylinder rod that goes through the firewall and repositioned it on the pedal better some how it wasnt making a connection. As far as the breaks master cylinder goes, Im not sure but there has to be something the pedal pushes on to indicate to the computer to turn the cruise off when u press the brake. so I guess thats where I would try if this is even the same type of system. It should be at least similar because I can not think of why anything under the hood would effect cruise.

Did you transfer the disconnect switch from the old master cylinder to the new one? That's the switch that had the recall harness connected to it.
