creaking sort of noise-driver side front shock

You don't need someone to compress them to fit them in, I did mine myself over the past weekend and I just got the top loosely put it place and then placed the jack underneath the bottom of the shock and compressed it until I could slide the jack forward and drop the shock into place.

i'll remember that! but what shocks do you recommend cause i'm not trying to spend too much money considering the truck has 154,000

Umm like everyone said bilsteins will give you an amazing ride, but if your looking to save a little look into a set of ranchos everyone seems to like those too.

now 154K on what are thought to be the factory shocks...lol
