Funny conversation with a friend

I get these convos alot with my friends because most of them are die hard chevy fans, and Im the ford guy. lol. Anyway, he starts talking about buying a new truck, saying how he needs to tow his BIG boat, (im gonna shorten this up alot), he continues to say "I HATE fords but right now I regularly pull my boat with my wifes EB expedition with a but load of miles on it, and it does a great job, and the second time I tried to pull it with my chevy I blew the transmission out". It just makes me laugh because with that kind of story how can one justify the "I HATE fords" statement?

Yup, Ford trucks may not be the fastest (well the 2011's are now) but they sure are good hard working trucks.

Don't you just love the comments about how slow fords are, and "Oh I'd smoke your truck in a race". Sorry last time I checked I have a TRUCK used for work and towing not a drag car! haha If that was the case I would of bought a ricer. (which I've blown the doors off of many in my time!)

Ya, another one of my die hard chevy friends was talking all kinds of smack to another buddy who has a 7.3 f250. Telling him there was no way his big ol diesel was even gonna come close to his 2007ish chevy pickup, 5.3, (or as he likes to say 327,lol). Anyway they lined up, and that "big ol diesel" put a whoopin on him we all still talk about today. I tried to warn him, .....

I've never figured out why they use the 327 instead of 5.3...I guess it makes them feel bigger. 327 Chevy sounds bigger than the 5.4L Ford.

In what way lol ?

Lets try. - 327 330 327 330 327 330. 330 looks bigger, not sure what hearing. (?)

You might want to make an appointment and work that out.

Well sure you can see the difference when you do the math...but why would they want to compare on an even field when they'll lose? No, they will compare ci to L because an uneducated person will think their number is bigger even though it is a totally different measuring standard. Next they'll use the cc for comparisons like all those guys driving rice burners.
