hi, i just got a 1997 f150 with the 4.2l v6. It has very low compression and the coolant mixed with the oil. the previous owner said that the replaced the intake gasket. what could be the cause of the problem? I dont know much about it but i am taking it apart to check the head gaskets and the lower intake gasket.

Intake and front cover gaskets. You are lucky it's not hydrolocked.
