O2 ??

Hey guys I have a question. I have a 2002 4.6 Lariat with 144,000 miles. I have owned it since it had 16,000 miles and done all the maintenance myself. Oil changes, all fluids, brake fluid etc. I still have the original O2 sensors. I changed plugs and coils myself about 30,000 miles ago. It runs and idles perfect no misses, etc. I noticed the last month or so gas mileage has been poopy. All my driving is in town with a plethra of traffic lights. So far this tank I have driven 50 miles on a little over 1/4 tank. The Gryphon says 11.5 mpg. I have a lot of threads about O2 sensors....I read pluses and minuses. Should I go ahead and replace mine with FoMoCo parts? I don't have any codes popping up at all. Just wondering if it might do some good or if its a waste until I pop a code..save the money and buy a Huffy?
So let's here thoughts..comments...concerns...
Thanks!

If it were me, I would. Some wait till they fail to change them. But with 144k, I personally would. Replacements should improve mileage by some, just depends how much. They play a substantial role in overall engine running conditions, with the amount of heat they withstand and those miles, they may not be sending a perfect measurement of information..
