I forget where I saw it, maybe youtube? But there is a video somewhere on removing the bed skins. It requires a lot of tools, it is not just a removal and re install. Youll need a spot welder and some other things from what I remember.

Knowing what bed you have would help since their are two ways it is done depending on the bed.

And "Fenders" would be at the front. Maybe it's just me, but I've never heard them called rear fenders. Skins and Panels, but not fenders.

Could be wrong I guess. Maybe the Step-sides are called Fenders ?

I'd be interested to see that. I welded in my panels, but would like to see which spot welder they used to fasten the skin.

It's a very slow process welding panels. I'll never do it that way again. It's tricky welding them, that's not the problem. The problem is they can't take and heat, -not all at once anyway. They warp very very easily, -PITA.

However, there is another way I'd like to try. That's with an arc welder lol. Not kidding. You can get what's call a stitcher. A gun attachment for thin metal. From what I've read, they use a reduction diode that chops the amps X 1/2.
Yea, just for the Arc Welders tho, - not the Migs.
