99 F150 4x4 5.4 Scab

I am looking to replace ball joints, tie rod ends and just all the major stuff prior to putting on my new tires. The truck has 177K and I am looking for a high quality kit that has everything. I would prefer Moog but it appears that I will have to piece it all together. Does anyone know of a place that sells rebuild kits that have control arms, ball joints and tie rod ends that are not junk? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I am also replacing the shocks. If anyone know of any other maint things that I should consider replacing let me know.

you should really just go to rockauto.com and get all the moog stuff. its not that expensive and fast shipping.

you can get the inner/outer tierods, pitman and idler arms, ucas and lower ball joints. then all youll need is to rent a press to get the lowers out of the control arms and press the new ones in.

 

Yeah most of those all in one kits for sale online are cheap japanese garbage. Order moog parts through rockauto and you will probably come out even. Make sure to order the new style upper's that have the ball joints that press in. It will save you big bucks the next time they go out.
