replacing door lock actuators
yeah its rivited to the door either drill it out or take a chisel and knock it off... the cheapest way to do a door lock actuator is to go get them from a junk yard. yes you are taking a risk to whether they work good or not but they are all the same connector end and for mine i got them out of an expedition and just swapped the rods over from my stock ones and made them work. cost me about 10 bucks for both.
dont replace them, fix'm

Great! go any advice for getting the actuators out of the door?
take the whole latch/actuator assembly out as one. not gonna lie it was a huge PITA but it is so worth it. i took off the outer door handle and pulled it out from there. a couple pages into the thread f150man posted someone links to a thread that describes it
