99 headlight switch

Hi does anyone know how to test a headlight switch for a 99 f150 I have headlights but no parking lights or dash lights. I have checked every fuse that I believe could be connected to this.the one thing that I found strange was in the engine compartment fuse box with the headlights on fuse 3 had power but not fuse 6 any ideas thanks

Fuse F6 is supposed to be a "ALWAYS HOT" circuit on one leg. If it's dead, that's why the lighting circuits don't work and you'll probably need to:

1) Replace the BJB
2) Repair the BJB
3) Improvise and wire around the fault

There's probably nothing wrong with the headlight switch as it just isn't getting any power from F6.
