Door ajar lite is on all the time suddenly on my 98 150std cab. Also suddenly pass door lock and tumbler wont turn when key is in it. Pass door lock cyl was always easiest to turn of the 2. Any ideas? how do i get this stinkin lite off?

 

also, its not a coded or key with chip in it.

 

start by lubricating your door latches real good

 

YUP, WD-40 in the latch, and spray a lot. This will hopefully fix it, then spray grease in there from time to time.

I cant beleive that stupid sensor was tripped by dirty locks!!! wd was the fix!!!!

 

Good deal, I followed every so often with a Motorcraft spray, made from corn and says it's good for latches etc. Keeps it lubed.
