Where do i start?
Alright I got my 2001, 4.6 f150. Runs great, and I want to keep it that way, so where do i start. Anyone know what typically causes problems after 175K miles? Also what i can do myself to keep my truck in top shape.

It is hard to tell WHAT is going to fail first...& you may very well not have much of anything, problem wise, for some time.
Keep up with good maintenance....the standard stuff.
change oil and filter regularly
plugs and coils
clean periodically the MAF and IAC
above all keep an keen ear , eye, and nose for this that don't seem right
