Well i have decided to keep my truck and not sell it. Just going to fix the little things wrong with it and drive er til the wheels fall off.

Spark plugs and o2 sensors are going to be changed. Gotta get a new door lock actuator for the drivers door.

Question tho, should i go back to a paper air filter or stick with the K&N that ive got? Gotts mod is already done.

I don't know you, but just read the whole thread haha. 2 year resurrection! Truck looks nice btw.

Are you still on the original motor? What's spurring the thought on filter change?

hah yeah accidently hit the wrong build thread plus havent been on here in awhile.
and yes origial motor wih 210k miles. still runs strong.
since im deciding to keep it i wana get the longest life out of it possible and i read somewhere that k&n were bad on the life of motors due to oil them but justwanted to see other peoples input.

No worries. The K&N's can gunk up the MAF and potentially the engine. I'd take it off, but it's been on there for a long time already, hasnt it?

You're gunna wanna clean the maf sensor too while you have your intake off.. If you only lightly oil your filter it won't do much damage.
But if you wanna change the filter drop in an amsoil ea dry filter like I did. Now all you have to do is take it out and blow compressed air through it to clean it.
