Problems with fuse F24

1997 Ford 150 4.2L V6 Auto trans

Problem started about 6 months ago. Transmission began to slip here and there. Check engine light started to come on. Had the code read and it was P0755 "Shift Solenoid B" code. Then fuse F24 for the PCM began blowing leaving me dead on the side of the road a couple of times. Seems like the fuse blows whenever I hit railroad tracks or a large pothole. And once it blew and I was dead on the side of the road any time I replaced it the fuse would blow. Followed the entire hardness all over and couldn't find anything shorting out to the chasis. Once the fuse blows any time i try to start the truck it blows again. I've had ot sitting for a couple months and I've been driving it up and down my driveway, got the check engine light back in but no fuse blow. I've replaced the PCM relay already and reinsulated the wiring on the harness. I'm out of ideas, anyone got any ideas or seen this P0755 shift solenoid able to blow the 30A PCM fuse? Thanks in advance.

Search keyword "F24" for previous discussions.

It is slightly possible but very improbable that the P0755 DTC is directly related to the blowing of the fuse.
