I hate Nissan's. A Nissan Altima plowed into my 03 SCrew. Totaled the Nissan. Unfortunately, it also totaled my truck. Mostly because it knocked off the road and down a 12 foot embankment. Front quarter panel on the passenger side and part of the hood and bumper knocked so far into the engine compartment that the poor truck tried to start when it was pulled up to the road. Amazing feat since it was in park and the keys were in my hand.

Love my Ford. Kept me from being airlifted. Airbags deployed and the seat belts held. I walked away.

I'm amazed actually. I would think those big **** brush guards would do some serious damage to opposing vehicles (or what ever else is in the way). But man, it just dinged your bumper all while totally eff'ing that Nissan hood up. Built Ford Tough, eh?

I remember one time years ago. I was messing around doing some donuts in the snow in our parking lot at work. I screwed up and smacked our loading dock pretty good. My bull bar took the brunt of the impact and saved my painted bumper. Just got a lil' dent in my bull bar now, it held up really well. Much better then that Nissan\brush guard.

But yea, glad no one was hurt.

Depending on how you hit the bull guards can really mess up your front end. Most of them mount to the frame under the bumper and that acts as the pivot point sending the top part into the hood.

Glad to see everyone walked away.

I've always liked that second one. If my OEM PTM bumpers weren't still in such great shape, I'd consider that one.

ended up ordering #2 today. It ended up being cheaper. They are offering free shipping in texas right now. even with tax it was about $100 cheaper than the other one. TAG wanted $115 to ship.

I ordered from RangerOffroad. They have amazing customer service. I called them on the phone because i had a few questions. Ended up talking to the owner. He walked me through everything and even helped set up a shipping spot since they cant deliver freight to a residence.

I would highly recommend them if anyone is looking for a ranch hand style bumper.

a small ding caused by another driver's vehicle. Therefore her insurance paid for it.

Sorry to hear about the accident, but at least everything went well for you to get the truck fixed.
