I hate to highjack, but i dont wanna dig up an old thread. Are the 97-98 doors the same as the 2000-04 doors? (how the mirrors mount) because when i search for the mirrors i want, they say they will fit a 97, but then the rest of the page just says 2000-03 or 04

if you go back to the link that i posted, and scroll down a bit, there is a place to type in the year make and model along with sub model of your vehicle. then click 'go' and it shows all the possible matches that the mirrors should fit (i dont know if i trust it, which is why i was asking about the difference in the 97/98- 2000+ doors)also, for you i would be weary becall all of the towing mirrors that i have ever seen have always said they dont fit super crews.

also i have found out that all of our trucks are pre wired for the turnsignals that you have in your mirrors, and that these mirrors that im looking at have turnsignals on the outside of the covers.

Yea I saw where it said "does not fit supercrew" im just wondering if they make any that do fit the supercrew doors. Would be nice if they did so I could see what im towing behind me, and also see around the trailer better if ive got a big load im hauling.

I would think it's just a disclaimer because it is not OEM. Why would you want big tow mirrors for the trail?? I wouldn't worry too much about that. They look like decent mirrors

no noone makes supercrew tow mirrors, youd have to building them your self

take the inside door panel off (like 5 scews)

then you still see 3 mounting screws that screw into the mirror itself. remove them and unhook the wiring harness...that easy.
