this is for all you guys with 1997 1998 1999 2000`s and older vehicles with firing,lean codes , skipping ect..... why dont you start from the begining by making sure gas tank dont have water old gas or trash in the tank because thier is no engine nowhere going to run right with clogged filters clogged injectors and with 3/4 gas 1/4 water in it listen up i found out the hard way that the gas tanks we have in our older trucks has old gas tanks and with age the little water that goes through out tanks will rust the inside of the tank and there is no telling what you will get when you pump gas in your tank in the first place so i guess the advice i am trying to give you is make sure you have pure gas and only pure gas in your gas tanks when you have skipping firing lean codes ect....before you go spending 100`s of dollars to buy new plugs sensors and things you wouldnt really need if you were running pure gas through your engine

How is it narcissistic to try to help other people? That's all most of us are trying to do and you think that because you do not care about grammar, everyone else is ignorant. Look up ignorant and get back to us, it'll sound pretty close to what you are.

 

Either take the responses given to you with a grain of salt, or stop posting! If you going to do nothing but whine and gripe about people speaking the truth about already obvious facts being posted, people will just ignore you. Then when it comes time for you to be serious, no one will take you for it.

 

Im going to say 99/100 people check the obvious before they post a question on a code. and 99/100 its not bad gas or a fuel pump. These truck have a long history of COP's. Well its not really a history it should be on a scheduled maintence plan sooner or later your going to lose a few. I actually havent heard of a vehicle not running because of "bad gas" in quiet sometime. That theory is pretty much shop at most shops now a days. Fuel filter on the other hand is usually a problem with some trucks and an easy swap out that most do, but why not post a question or search before you do it to see if it in fact will help?? I dont see anything wrong with it. No question is a stupid question, beatin a dead horse gets old but, the more post about a code the more the search will help!
