I have an Edge Evolution Programmer and have a Mafia from my old Lightning. Would it even work at all with the programmer or is it not needed? Thanks for the help.

the edge is a POS canned tuning device and NO it won't work since the MAFia needs a custom tune

01 Screw 4x4 Lariat w/ 5.4 and it came with the Edge and I just found the Mafia and forgot I had it so I was seeing if its any use. I plan on sending the Edge to gryphon. Now the truck has Edge Evo, K&N intake, Flowmaster Exhaust, Throttle body spacer.

if you're gonna get a tune then it might work, granted PHP won't convert your edge due to the cable issues...



but you can purchase an EdgeCS or Gryphon CS

 

Can they do anything with the Edge Evo or it is basically a waste to keep in there?

 

Or is there anyone you recommend to do a tune for it?

 

the edge evo is a POS, the cable issues are why the stopped dealing them and they still so the EDGE CS and convert 'em to the Gryphon CS



the only way you could someone else to do a tune is for you to purchase a different tuning device, which you're gonna have to do anyway




but it sounds like you just want to toss this MAFia on your truck to claim you have another mod which will serve no useable purpose or benefit you
