It will be a daily driver. I just want it to where if I need to get somewhere sticky or pull something heavy I won't have to worry about it. I'm trying to find some ground hawgs. I heard they wear very well and do good in mud. What truck would have the axles I would need. I was thinking about a bronco but don't know if they would be heavy enough.

if you're OK with burning thru transmissions

take your pick re-gear it accordingly to the tires and planned useage or pay the consequences

No truck is going to come stock with those gears. You will need to buy them and have them installed. If you plan to lift it more and run 37's you will want 4:56 without a doubt. But I would run them with the 35's also. You have to start somewhere though, this will all come into play as to what you do with the engine. Transmissions.... 4r100 seems to be a favorite over the 4r70w as the 4r70w has a lot of weak points. If you want to go the route of a lightning swap, concentrate on that. Then pick up a 4r100 and have it built according to your driving habits and how much hp you plan to pull from the motor or whether or not you plan on towing.

That sounds do able. What do I want to pull the axle off of. There's an f350 and a couple broncos. I think there is an f250 out here as well. What does the transmission need to come off of. I'm kind of out of the loop on the newer vehicles
