anybody got a factory 6 disc changer in a supercrew. if so can some one post some pics please. i found a ford 6 disc changer salvage yard that looks just like mine. pulled mine out and the plugs on the back are different. any info on my problem?

 

I remember something about this when I replaced the AM/FM in my XL about 5 yrs ago. I think the plugs changed in '98. I also think you could get a wiring harness (on ebay) to convert the old plugs (on the radio) into the new plugs (in the truck).

I know the plugs in my stepson's '97 Mazda B2300 (Ford Ranger) are different than the plugs in my '99 and my '03 work truck (they're both the same). I put a CD player from an '07 Ranger in my work truck and it plugged right in.
