6.4L Winter Front On F-150?

Well, now that I have my Patman Grille, I have noticed my truck takes alot longer to warm up without my winter grille. I don't want to put it back on because there is an emblem cutout. So I was wondering if possibly the winter front for the 08+ SD 6.4L Diesels could somehow work on my truck as all the other ones i have seen are hideous.

You can always make your own. I made mine from a vinyl treadmill pad, 2 wire coat hangers and a leather punch tool with some small grommets, total cost $20 and it fits perfect. I just tie it on and in the spring cut the string and its off. Only takes a few min to install.

Sure its not pretty to look at but it works. Keeps all the slush out of the rad too.
Got the treadmill pad at Princess Auto.

I have a block heater
I just hook that baby up to a timed plug outside and every night my truck is warm and ready to go!

same here! i was amazed at how well those block heaters work. i hooked up a friend's scan gauge to monitor my water temperature, and with the block heater plugged in overnight my water was at +30*C with an outside air temperature of -30*C before i even started the engine! that's a 60* difference, very impressed.

Or you could just buy one that is specifically fitted for your truck.

Did you see the link I posted? They make grill covers that fit our trucks. Unless you really want a F-250 cover?

Get an inverter and hard wire it so you can plug the block heater into onboard AC wherever you are...... self-sufficient

Personally i think that one is ugly and don't want snaps on my grille.

Don't want to increase chances of battery dying even more than the stereo already does.
