'01 F150 - location of truckbed (drain) holes?

Hey Guys,

does anybody know if there are any predrilled holes (maybe drain holes) in the truckbed? I drive a '01 F150 and can't locate any holes from underneath.
There is a bedliner installed so I can't find them from the inside either :-(

I want to ran a cable inside the bed for a 12V outlet. Maybe somebody has a picture or a link to a diagram, similar like this: http://www.supermotors.net/registry/media/471464_1

Sorry for the english & greetings from Germany,
promillo

The drain holes aren't actually holes, but just gaps in the front two corners of the bed, where the sides joint with the wall behind the cab. This is all I have been able to find myself as far as drainage in the bed.

As for running 12V into the bed, there should be 2 gromets on the front wall that can be drilled to put a cord through them, while still keep everything sealed up. Much like a gromet in a firewall.

Hope this helps.

depends on where you want the power source, i would come up the back behind a tail light, and mount it in the back post of the bed, will be easy to get into, and wont effect water draining, and your wire connections should be out of the elements behind the tail light

Thanks for the replies! I found the "holes" on saturday after freezing my ***** off in the driveway

Setup:

Damn, no way to find the gaps that dirtyd88 mentioned:

... but my cam can look around corners (here already removed the gromet):

The gromet drove me nuts. I knocked it out from underneath and it felt between the bedwall and the bedliner It took me 15min to get it back out, so you better watch out and remove it the inside if possible.

From underneath:

The cord is already in for pulling the powercable inside, but the delivery guy missed me on saturday...

What are those shades (pic2) for on the back of the cap? Can I get the cable there inside??
