Sway bar link pins - How tight?

I just replaced my Upper Control Arms, Lower Ball Joints and my Sway bar link pins. I also purchased four new tires and had them aligned.

After I drove away from the shop, I notice that the front end does not feel right. It does not feel tight enough. It feels a little loose. Could it be that I did not tighten the sway bar link pins enough?

I too my truck back to the tire shop and they double checked the alignment and they said that the alignment is fine.

sway bar will be felt when you turn if it feels like the cab is rolling too much then its loose. if its too tight they will pop when you turn when not moving

Did you torque to spec? To loose or to tight, they break inside the the sleeve. Do you know the install procedure for those?

No, I did not have the torque info. My buddy and winged it and hoped it we tightened it enough. Common sense told us not to over tighten it.

Do you know the torque spec on those?

Thanks,
John

Yea, I think it's better to go that route. If I recall, I tried both of my torque wrenches and couldn't get spec torque without crushing the damn bushings. Not sure why. I recall attempting with and without load, since this wasn't mentioned in the workshop procedure. I don't think I could get it torque up regardless. I purchased the links 3rd party, 9" Ford links for my model. I can't recall the supplier name, but I do recall thinking that I should of ordered Moogs from Napa or just going with the dealer part.
