Blew out spark plug need help

Hey Guys blew out #3 spark plug on my 2003 4.6l. I bought the napa quick fix but don't feel confident in how long that will last. I'd like to do the time sert. I'm in CT/ Tristate area. Is anyone renting the time sert tools or know of someone I can trust to do it for me? Thanks in advance.

Napa quick fix? Their thread repair kit?
The user by the name of Galaxy rents the timesert kit. Also, search "timesert" to find all the information you need

I dont recomend the NAPA heicoil, I think thats what you are talking about. I used one on my 4.3 vortech in my s10 started it and gave her a rev and boom shot it right back out.

Napa sells a kit same as dorman 42025. Specifically for Ford tritons since it seems to happen alot. Not Helicoil. Haven't found any negative reviews on it. Still would like to find a good mechanic that has done time serts in my area.

The TimeSert kit is a true D-I-Y kit and it is a permanent repair, not a fix up job. The NAPA repair will get you just to the point where you're 2,000 miles away from home or any help...then it'll let go. I have had more than one customer return to say "I told ya so". If you're the type that likes to do the work yourself so you know it's done right, drop me a line. Couldn't have picked an easier cylinder to work on.
