2" Add a lead of blocks?

so after the transmission and my other litte projects are finished, my next is suspension. i'd love to do a lift, but can't afford one and i just put new 285's on and they would look tiny with a 5". so im between either 2" AAL's or blocks for the rear, and am going to do 7700 Tbars up front. i've always been a fan of AALs, but for arguements sake, are there any advantages one has over the other? and does anyone have pics of a similiar setup? here are my most recent pics for reference. since then i have painted the wheels black, 04-08 emblems and L heads going on this week

It won't so much as stiffen it up as it will help the stock suspension. The stock leafs on these suck and could use any help they can get. I ran a set of AAL's for 2 years and never could tell. A block will only add height, the AAL (a few more bucks) will add height and help the suspension.. I wouldn't expect to get any more than 1-1.5" out of an AAl though.

youll need a 4" block if you want 2 more inches out back but AAL will be more involved to install.

as long as it comes with a new center pin its not that bad. i had to make some new ones for my springs when i put them on and it was alot of grinding. but i also have a 5" block that works just fine. want to switch to a 4" soon
