What does this smell mean?

Yeah! That must be it! Ha Ha! In reference to your previous post, I think I'll fill up with high octane next time and see if the smell is still there.

maybe" the battery
My 67 wildcat started to smell like natural gas or propane found out it was a bad battery cuased by the alternator overcharging all the time.

Interesting thought, trucker girl. I did just replace the battery a couple months ago so it should be good.

Well, I filled up on premium tonight, when the truck was on empty, so we'll see if that makes any difference.
