I'm considering selling my truck, but I don't know what a fair price would be. Its a 1997 4.6 auto 4x4(floor shifter) supercab 164,000 miles. Has custom seat covers, and floormats. New plugs and wires, rebuilt trans still under warranty. New fuel tank and evap sensor, new front bearings. A bit of rust on bottom of both doors. Runs well drives well, just cant afford the gas being as I am in school. Bluebooks for 4200 what do you guys think an accepltable price would be?

 

depends where you live really. i paid $5500 for my 2000, 5.4, 4X4 on the floor, scab, eagle wheels w/ good tires, exhaust, sound system, etc.

mine has a few dings and such, its a truck. but NO rust at all.

The rust is a big downfall. Around here I would say around 3200-4k. If you got 4k, you should be happy.
