yeah they stink for a while, my amp smells like its melting all the time but its not, if your not getting enough hit out of your sub try bridging them, your high volume range for your subs will be dramatically reduced but your low range will hit so hard you wont know what hit you, until you get an amp that over powers your sub it will cut out bridged at high volumes. im about to install another 400 watt amp to my 300 watt rockford p1's but my trucks subs hit harder than a dude I know with 2 900 watt JL's mainly because he didnt bridge his.
