Truck had been sitting about an hour in cold temps. After I'd driven it about a a mile I heard a whining sound for about 10 sec. It stopped but after about a mile I heard it again, again for about 10 sec. Any idea. Mechanic is away for Xmas. Almost like the power steering hose. Happened both times after a 90 degree turn,

 

Power steering pump whine. Suck the fluid out of the reservoir with a turkey baster and replace it with synthetic ATF.
