Truck wont start...help needed asap

SO after driving from MD to KY I unloaded all my stuff from my truck. After I was done went to start my truck and got nothing. The lights, radio, etc. worked and according to my guage my battery is fine. I called a tow truck the next morning and when the guy got there it started right up. After driving for a day or two with no problems I was working on my sound system so I disconnected the ground from my battery, once I was done connected my battery and now the truck wont start again. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Hopefully I was descriptive enough.

You getting any noise like the solenoid clicking or anything? Have you checked all power wires, to starter, to solenoid, etc. Cleaned the battery terminals?

If nothing happens, it might be the neutral safety switch. Turn the key on and put it in neutral and try it. If still nothing, wiggle the lever up and down while holding the key to "start".

Does the instrument panel gear pointer work right?
