i think this thread may have solved my riddle of the fouling of coil 4 on my 02 F150 w 5.4l.. but on mine, I see one of the heater hoses is routed down behind the engine out of site after it loops over coil #4. I went under my vehicle and noticed moisture around my starter and I think it also ruined my oxygen sensor under the front passenger side as well since i get that code too. For my application are the hoses the same with those special connections? also is easy to get to. Im strapped for cash as well and if I have to drop the money for the OE hoses I wont have a ton to do a shop call.. Thanks for the info..
