I need to know which wire on the OSS (output shaft speed sensor) goes to which one. It's the sensor the little sensor on the trans that is towards the tail shaft on the drivers side. I just need to know for sure which color the wire is on top and which is the one on the bottom. Thank You

I know you said 01-03, but do you think a 2000 would work for you? I have a 2000 and I don't mind checking that out for you once I get home as I'm gonna be working on the truck anyways. Let me know.

No the OSS sensor is different for 01+ trans. I am doing a trans swap and need to know which wire is which. I could try it one way and then the other. But figure this would be a great way for the forum to give something back to me especially the information that will come from this will be BIG.

I just went and took a look, I have red/maroon(hard to tell) with yellow stripe on top. Blue with yellow stripe on the bottom.

Still can't find it Gotts, - So it's the 4r70w. I'll try to find the Pin-out for the 2002-2003 via DVD (Workshop).

I'll look right now, -cut and paste in a few, if I find it lol.

no problem. so the 4r75e uses the same wire harness? or is it just internally different from 4r70e?

What do you need exactly as far as diagrams ? In the 02 model year. An "e" diagram?

you need to swap the epc solenoid from a 98-03 one. You also need to swap the internal wiring harness because the 04+ and the 98-03 one are different.

drop the pan, remove the valve body and replace the epc solenoid. Electronic pressure control solenoid. It is number 3 in this picture. Then you swap the internal wiring harness that is inside the transmission from the 4r75e with one from a 98-03.
