tierods

was told to change outer tierods , should i change inner as well? idlerarm?

Yes, I'd change the inner tierod ends also. Replace the idler arm if it's worn, as well as the ball joints.

You don't HAVE to. I did my outers idler and pitman because they were bad but my inners were still good so I put them off for now to save cash

if you have the cash i say yes. if not it shouldnt hurt anything doing them seperate. thats what i did my outters first then my inners when they went bad.
