So my buddy has a 99 extended cab 4x4 with the 5.4. i got a text this morning from him and he is having electrical issues on cold mornings. His radio and windows wont work untill the truck gets warmed up which takes about the whol drive accross campus (he is away at school). he doesnt really have the time or resources to take anything appart and im pretty much stumped. Is he looking at a bad battery/alternator or bad pcm or something completely different?

 

start by checking the battery connections and any grounds that noticeable
