how do the rotors attach to the hubs?

well, may seem like a stupid question, but i havent really looked while working on the truck. how do the rotors attach to the hub? do they slide over the studs, or are they pressed(?) onto the hub? when i had to replace the wheel studs, i took the brake caliper and braket off and beat the rotor with a hammer. i figured it didnt slide off, so pushed the old studs out and pulled new ones in. but with these new rotors i got, they look like they slide over the studs. i could be wrong. take a look....

yea they just slide over the studs man. your gonnna need a bigger hammer... like an 18lb sledge. . . trust me.... you can try to use penatating oil on them, but when i finally got mine off, you could tell that the stuff hadnt even goten close too where it needed to be to help get the rotors off. i actually broke both front rotors. cracked the passenger side half way around and the dirver side completely broke. but when it did it slid down behind the part that was stuck and gave me a better place to hit with the sledge and then it popped right off.

Lol your truck is beyond mud covered underneath! Those rotors are sexy though. Hows do they feel compared to stock? Hows the stopping power?

You should try and get as much mud as you can while you have it taken apart. All that dirt is going to make your brakes squeak pretty fast.
