i have some question about putting in the captain chairs and center console from expy. i found the captain chairs and console my questions are my truck is not power seats and the expy seats are do i have to plug-ins or will i have to wire them, is so, how do i wire them?
My next question is the console has a 6 disc changer, i have the factory unit still in my truck, can i hook it up to my radio, if so, how do i do that?

 

I did this swap this past summer. I had an 8 gauge power wire already run under my seat where my amp was at. I will look tomorrow and see which wire is the power, and where the ground wire I used is. Only had to hook up those two wires to get all the motors to work. I don't know about the changer, I use an Ipod.

 

so all i need is a power wire and a ground wire if i dont have the pig tails

 

Yup mines the same way power and ground and my lariat buckets work just fine.

 

hm. my passenger seat is not power. if i find a power seat could i run the power for it off my drivers seat since it is powered??

 

so what about the 6 disc changer in the console? will it work with my factory radio?

do you have the console harness?

not sure but there should also be another harness between the bottom of the dash up to the radio.

you'd need to plug in the connectors including the one on the back of the radio

 

thats what i was thinking, maybe i can get the harness with the console too. but i was noticing that my factory radio isn't set up for a 6 disc. so i guess get the radio out of the expy or do without the 6 disc changer.
