Has anyone installed a Explorer overhead console
in a 97 F truck?
I plan on doing so but I am a little afraid that the
shape and location of the front pillar is similar.
I took the 97 Explorer console out as well as the
mounting bracket. also took the Explorer visors.

Holding the console against the F-150 headliner
looks like it will fit. However, the mounting bracket
uses a notch and 2 screws to go into the inner pillar.

Any help?

 

never heard of anyone useing a explorer console, but most people use a expidition console.
