how much sand in the bed?

ShurTrax personally I would prefer sand bags. This particular one is $69.95

I think my tube sand bags are 70# each. I have four, but go with just two most of the time. When the forecast is for a lot of show, then I'll throw all four in the bed. the trick is to place them over the wheels, or close to the tail gate so that 100% of the weight is applied to the rear wheels.

ok, this will be my first winter with snow, so i dont want to be sliding around everywhere!

Like any vehicle, use some sense when you are driving and you will be fine.

I also throw all my weight behind the wheel well, so I get the full weight on the rear wheels.
